Veuve Clicquot Ponsardine Glass Pack

The sardine tin packaging, with its undulating metal sides, is a nod to the Ponsardins family coat of arms, a bridge (pont) beneath a swimming sardine. The gourmet sardine tin is also an icon of time that celebrates both past and present, reviving Veuve Clicquots rich history and bringing the classic image of tin and key straight into 2013.    Grapes from as many as 60 vineyards make up the Yellow label blend. Usually the proportion of each grape variety is around 55 Pinot Noir, 15 Pinot Meunier and 30 Chardonnay. The chief blender will draw on reserve wines to form the cuvee. Each of these older wines (some up to 8 years old) are used to maintain consistency year after year.
