Dom Perignon Rosé 2003 Vintage Champagne 75cl by Jeff Koons is the latest Rosé Limited Edition collaboration for the 2003 Rosé Dom Perignon. Inspired by the Venus of Willendorf, a tiny paleolithic figurine dated to around 23,000 BC, Jeff Koons Balloon Venus proposes a new kind of idol: a modern day goddess of love who embraces her beholder in reflective curves. Richard Geoffroy Chef du Cave of Dom Perignon described the 2003 rosé as “voluptuous, with a velvety texture and a hint of liquorice, but still with the minerality that is the signature of Dom Pérignon.” The Rosé Vintage 2003 expression is complete, compact and structured, focusing on concentration and density. Its colour is deep, with light amber and copper tints. The gift boxes designed by Jeff Koons reproduces on a dark background the Balloon Venus for Dom Pérignon, underlined by Jeff Koons signature. When opened, a reinterpreted bottle of Dom Pérignon erupts, exactly as it does from the body of the Balloon Venus for Dom Pérignon, magnifying the revelation.
