Since 1843, the House of Krug has honoured this vision with each new Edition of Krug Grande Cuvee: the most generous expression of Champagne. A stay of around seven years in Krug’s cellars gives Krug Grande Cuvee its distinct expression and elegance. All Editions of Krug Grande Cuvee share a myriad of flavours and aromas in which everyone can find something that stirs the emotions. The Edition number is the number of times this act of creation has happened. It also corresponds to the number of years in the House of Krug the founder’s dream, or that of the fifth generation of the Krug family in the case of Krug Rose, has been re-created. Once crafted, the bottle enters Krug’s cellars to rest for around seven years.
