In the ‘heel of Italy’s boot’, in the Salento region of Puglia, lies Masseria Borgo dei Trulli. Home to dark, thick-skinned black grape varieties, the focus here is primarily on indigenous varieties. Aromas of plums, wild stawberries and black pepper.  The palate is full-bodied with hints of licorice and nutmeg, well -balanced tannins and a long and persistent finish.  

Ideal with meat, poultry, cheese, pizza and most pasta dishes.
