Domaine Mourchon Grande Reserve, Cotes du Rhone - France
Product description +
Domaine de Mourchon is a family-run estate in Séguret with a treasure trove of 50-year-old vines growing on sun-drenched terraced vineyards
- This is the domaine’s top cuvée from the high quality southern Rhone village of Séguret
- The Grande Reserve is a blend of Grenache and Syrah from high altitude vineyards and extremely old vines
- With fabulous intensity of fruit and smoky complexity from barrel ageing, this is far superior to Châteauneuf-du-Pape at this price
Tasting note: The color is deep purple with a nose expressing spicy, liquorice notes associated with candied red fruits. The palate is concentrated, round and rich with intense fruit, harmonious spices and tannins.
Enjoy with meat in sauce, game, creamy cheeses or chocolate desserts with a red fruit coulis.

Hampers aren’t just for Christmas. Food hampers can be a great purchase all year round - you can buy a food hamper to watch a sports event with the kids or head off to the park to enjoy it, especially when the sun is up and the weather is ideal for outdoor picnicking.
While Christmas is still a couple of months away, you know what they say about time flying by. To beat the holiday hubbub, you might want to get a head start on writing out your gift list. After all, you don’t want to give gifts that were hurriedly thought of at the last minute.
