Mizunara oak is famed for its rarity and aromatic contribution, with only a small percentage of Japan’s whisky stock aged in this prized wood. Grown only in the northern forests of Hokkaido and the Tohoku region, this oak takes centuries to mature and imparts nuanced character to the whisky. The result is a refined dram with a unique Japanese signature.

This single malt is made using pristine water from the Daisen Mountain range and aged in a region where dramatic seasonal changes create ideal conditions for maturation.
