Tasting: The blend comprises of Pinot Noir (64), Chardonnay (36)the 2004 Rosé vintage of La Grande Dame has a nose that is full and intense with notes of orange peel, a hint of nuttiness and vanilla. An equally powerful palate with a unique character of red fruit, biscuit and apricot, and a firm, persistent mousse. Striking in flavour and profile. A graceful, well-toned Rosé, full of berry, autumn leaves and spice notes enmeshed in a rich texture, all supported by lively acidity.
