Berton Vineyards, established in 1996 by Bob and Cherie Berton, is located in the picturesque High Eden sub region of the Barossa Valley in South Australia. Situated 450m above sea level on rolling hills, this idyllic property is where the magic of Berton Vineyards begins.

Bob and Cherie planted the first vineyard cuttings on the property, starting with ten acres of Shiraz and seven acres of Chardonnay. In 2005, the opportunity arose to acquire the former Southcorp winery in Yenda, NSW. Bob and Cherie teamed up with Jamie Bennett, Paul Bartholomaeus, and James Ceccato to form Berton Vineyards the company, taking control of their own production.

From these modest beginnings in 2005, Berton Vineyards has flourished into one of the 20 largest wineries in Australia, earning rave reviews and accolades internationally. Their commitment to quality and personal customer relationships have set them apart in the industry.
