Lanson Extra Age Brut 75cl  An exquisite multi-vintage marriage of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay – 2000 2002 and 2004 – Lanson Extra Brut was crafted in celebration of Lansons 250th anniversary emulating the traditionally complex and fresh style maintained by classic Lanson champagnes since 1760.   Details Ageing: Approximately 5 years Blend: 40 Chardonnay 60 Pinot Noir Crus: The Pinot Noirs are selected from the fi nest areas of Verzenay and Bouzy the Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs: Chouilly Avize Oger and Vertus. Format: Available in bottles (75cl)and magnums   Tasting Notes This champagne is delightfully aromatic and intense lending itself to accompaniment with richly fl avoured dishes such as scallops and truffles lobster gratin and roast partridge or pheasant. To the eye Extra Age Brut is a vibrant straw yellow colour with fi nebubbles. Aromas of fi g winter pear and honey on the nose are combined with bready notes reminiscent of French pastries. On the palate it is full bodied and complex with a fi nale offi nesse and freshness.
